Contessa 32 sailing yacht 2010 - by Jeremy Rogers

Calypso, the new 'greener' Contessa 32 is for sale. Launched for the September 2010 Southampton Boat Show, Calypso is essentially a new boat, owned and run-in by the Rogers family and finished to an extremely high specification (see below) with over £70,000 worth of extras.  The boat is VAT paid.

Calypso was built by Jeremy Rogers and his son Kit and finished for the Southampton Boat Show by a small dedicated team at the Jeremy Rogers yard (www.jeremyrogers.co.uk) in Lymington. You can read about the building of Calypso on Jessie's blog - buildingcalypso.blogspot.com  -

Calypso's only race to date has been the 2011 Round the Island Race when she came 12th in the IRC class and was first Contessa 32 to finish.

Calypso has featured in a number of PBO articles both during her build and after her launch and there have been major articles in Classic Boat and Sailing (USA) magazines.

Calypso has a current IRC optimised certificate and is part III British registered. So she's ready to go cruising or racing.
