Good condition copy of this older but still first-class magazine with all the regular articles and many black and white photographs of nature and the UK countryside. It regularly featured many of Britain's best nature writers and is very informative about how attitudes to UK wildlife conservation have developed, as well as presenting in a clear and interesting style a broad and varied range of UK wildlife and countryside subjects.

Countryman magazines are actually small, well-bound cardcover, good quality booklets measuring 5" x 7" approx, almost half an inch thick usually with around 200 pages, only about 30 or 40 of which are advertisements, the rest containing informative, quality content and comment on the nature and countryside issues of their time, generally by very good writers.

This copy is in good condition.
