This is a 1500c FWB Coventry Climax engine that has been dry stored for several decades.
Photos show block casting numbers and serial number. If you are looking at this advert you will know that these engines can be converted to automobile use.
I have not dismantled the engine, but it has been in deep storage since 1950's and turns freely by hand. If you have any questions ... please ask.
Engine to be collected in person from me in Reigate, 5 minutes from M25. As you will know they are light and I can assist in lifting it into a suitable vehicle.
Cash on collection preferred.

UPDATE Sunday 22nd:
1. Another Ebayer tells me this is a 1020cc rather than 1500cc engine. I don;t know and based the description on what I could find on the internet. I have not dismantled and measured the bore. Can anyone else confirm size? I belive that bidders will know the engine tpye from the casting marks and serial number.
2. Thanks for all the requests...but no "Buy it Now" price as I'd rather let it run until end of auction.

Further Update Tuesday 24th: Re Engine Size.
With some good advice from Paul of Colmworthclassiccars,I have checked and can confirm the engine stroke to be a fraction over 3". I am told this does mean the engine is a 1500cc version. Please check out questions below for more info.
