Materials needed: Wire brush for rust spots
Acetone or thinner
Dust cloth
Paper and masking tape
Protective gloves and goggles

Preparatory work: To achieve perfect results and durability, it is vital to clean and prepare the work surface thoroughly. Please read the technical information provided in this leaflet carefully before starting the repair.
Remove rugs, towels, shower curtains etc. from your work area.
Mask an area of 20 cm around the damaged spot with newspaper and masking tape.
Surface Preparation Please wear regular household gloves and goggles for the following steps:
Remove rust spots and loose particles with wire brush. Do not sand the surface.
Then, clean damaged area with grease-free acetone or thinner.
Work with Spatula: Please wear household gloves for the following steps:
Only take as much filler as needed from the container and mix thoroughly with a small amount of hardener on a sheet of paper. Mixing ratio should be 30 parts of filler and 1 part of hardener.(walnut amount of filler to a pea amount of hardener). After mixing, spread the mixture thinly on the paper to remove any air bubbles. Then lift the solid mix with the spatula.
Apply mix on the damaged area and smooth it with spatula. Application time: approximately
three minutes. When working with porcelain, you can reinsert any of the chipped porcelain pieces. Let the area dry and harden for about 30 minutes. Then, sand down any uneven spots and remove the sanding dust. No ridges or holes should remain.
When working with acrylics or fibreglass please note the following differences:
The filler can only be used for the repair of chipped areas or deep scratches. Tension cracks or broken out areas cannot be glued. After filling the chipped or scratched area, sand down with the 800-grit wet sandpaper (grey) with water.
Spray work: Please wear household gloves for the following steps:
Shake spray can vigorously for three minutes before use. Try out on a sample area first.
Apply spray thinly from a distance of about 15-20cm. Using a mask from a paper- or cardboard cut-out will facilitate smooth application (cut-out size should be similar to that of the damaged area). Hold mask about 1-2cm above damaged area while starting to spray on the paper/cardboard first and then moving across the cut-out to cover the damaged area. Apply second coat after one minute. Repeat until damaged area has been fully covered.
Hint: You can remove spots of spray applied too thickly spray (e.g. drips) with grease-free acetone. The colour hues are based on original colours provided by the manufacturers of bathtubs etc. Application with acrylic products may show slight variations.
After repair: The finished surfaces should not be exposed to water for four days, so it can harden 100%. The repaired area can be polished with regular car polish after hardening.
