Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Treatment is a clear, natural matt finish that helps
make decking safer especially when wet by improving slip-resistance.
Cuprinol Deck-GripTM Microbead technology gives a non-abrasive, anti-slip
finish, whilst powerful algicides help protect the film from the growth of green
algae and mould. Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Treatment also provides a water
repellent finish that seals and protects. It is ideal for use on decks that are
partially shaded and in preparing decks for the winter
Where to Use – Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Treatment is suitable for use on
all types of new or used bare and stained timber decking. Certain penetrating
finishes such as Cuprinol Decking Oil, Decking Seal and Decking Protector
(DP) will need to be weathered prior to the use of Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking

before using Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Treatment.

for at least 6 months before applying Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Treatment.
Before application, clean surfaces as for bare wood. Decking coated with
sound decking stain should be washed with Cuprinol Decking Cleaner to
remove any surface dirt and allowed to dry.
Weathered Wood: Completely remove all grey wood by sanding back to a
clean sound surface or by using Cuprinol Decking Restorer.
Painted/Varnished Wood, Stains in Poor Condition: Sand-off or chemically
remove existing coating and then treat as bare wood.
Application – Stir well before and occasionally during use. Apply using a
brush or roller. Brush or roll out any accumulations on the surface of the

Cleaning and Storage – Remove as much product as possible from
application equipment before washing out with water. Reseal container after
use. Wash off any splashes with water while still wet. Do not use or store in
