The item will start to deliver on January 7, 2011 DAC TDA1541, AD1865, AD1955, PCM63, CS4398 series KINGKONG DAC in modular design for TDA, AD, PCM, CS series
Now, for a veteran enthusiast, equipped with a variety of different DAC to suit their listening is not a rare appreciation of the need, so, in some circuits stages, power source and components will have a duplication of investment. Design a compatible decoder---according to its own needs, to choose combinations into different forms of decoder, I believe should be more convenient and practical ability for most of audiophiles if a DAC unit designed with a compatible decoder, digital receiver on the same platform.
At present, most of the DA chip communication and audio data transfer is basically identical (only the data format, sampling frequency, bit rate are slightly different), based on this common signal transmission, designed a compatible DAC unit with different series of DA audio decoder chip will be feasible. Based on sharing a common part of the decoder, such as: Power • Regulators • Receiver demodulation • Digital Filter • IV conversion • Analog amplification, and to make the different DA and digital filter chip by modular designed, just plug to connect to different combinations, then it will fulfill the listening behavior of most audiophiles.
Now, we first introduced (KINGKONG) a balanced structure of the classic DA Philips chip TDA1540. After that we will introduce the different chip (AD, TDA, PCM, CS, etc.) of the DA card, different circuit-based LPF card and LBA cards to meet the different needs of the listening habits of audiophiles shortly.
A "Power: 1) to receive some of the power demodulation • Digital Filter: Two regulation stage, the first stage (adjustable voltage output) using high-speed purification of Telefunken rectifier + filter (680uf *9) + VMOS transistor + constant current + precision reference current source. The second stage (adjustable or fixed voltage regulator IC) by the LT108 * or L1117 series.
2) decoding and analog power: Two regulation stages, the first stage (adjustable voltage output) using high-speed purification of Telefunken rectifier + filter (680uf * 9) + VMOS transistor + constant current + precision reference current source. Output voltage + /-15~17V (depends on the types of DA chip) The second stage (adjustable voltage output) from Toshiba Darlington Nissan + constant current + precision reference current source. Output voltage + /-5V~12V adjustable.
3) Power Characteristics: Rectifier with high-speed from Telefunken, filter part is multiple by a small value capacitor in parallel, thereby reducing the capacitance and ultra-low internal resistance. As a result of the JFET regulator control circuit consisting of constant current source, caused AC impedance to infinite, and DC to 0 resistance effect (theoretical value). ,the use of high-precision, ultra-low noise voltage regulator chip TL431, reducing the noise.
4) Power Requirements: A total of 6 groups of the power supply regulation, digital receiving and filtering : AC9--12V/0.5A * 2. DA and analog section : AC18-24V/1A * 4. (L&R channel separately) PCB size: thickness 2mm, gold solder
B "Motherboard: 1) The digital receiver can choose to use two receiver chips: CS8414 or DIR9001, by the jumper switch setting. 2) On-board temperature drift is less than 1PPM the compensated crystal, frequency = 22.5792MHZ. 3) The onboard clock feedback interface, frequency = 11.2896MHZ 4) The board I2S input interface (using balanced transmission mode), by jumper switch setting. 5) The board has a digital filter module adaptor, 4 DA card slots (2 each on L and R channels), 2 LPF slots (each for L and R channels), 2 LBA slots (each for L and R channels)
C "digital filtering module (see optional filter module description) Constructed : TDA1540 DA chips with digital filtering,
D "decoder module (see optional decoder card instructions) DA different decoder chip by different decoder module.
E "LPF card Constructed by Multi-stage of HDAM (4 pairs), balanced and unbalanced circuit, I/V for the first stage and LPF for second stage
F "LBA Card 3rd and 4th stage are balanced and unbalanced output amplification section, constructed by 3 groups of HDAM.
