DIVINE VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC MOSSMAN BLUE CHEST/COFFEE TABLE/STEAMER/TRAVEL TRUNK

This auction is for an absolutely charming, vintage, shabby chic, blue coloured, Mossman style trunk/ blanket box/ storage chest.

  It measures 30ins (76cms) wide x  16ins (41cms) deep x  12ins (31cms) high and is a traditionally constructed  trunk with a  brass effect finished metal work including lock with hasp and two lever catches at the front and protective banding and corner guards.

It is sound and solid trunk in good general condition for its age. There is no woodworm or rot and the only flaws I can find are the missing lever arm on the right hand side catch, and a largeish scratch to the top with other minor ones around the body and the number 252 written on the top.

Also there is no key for the lock but it stays in the closed position with ease, and the hinges are sound and solid. (please see photos)

Internally it is plain, dry and unlined.

An attractive and chic trunk that would give real presence to any room it was in with plenty of storage room for mags, rugs, blankets, books, CD's or whatever!
