WARNING ABOUT SELLER CLAIMS OF HIGH BATTERY mAh VALUE.

Please beware of on-line sellers claiming their batteries have a higher mAh than the standard original battery supplied by the camera, camcorder or mobile phone manufacturer. Sellers are claiming their batteries have up to twice the mAh capacity of the camera & camcorder manufacturer's battery when an increase in mAh capacity usually means that the physical size of the cells is increased as well. Consequently, if the battery isn't any bigger than the standard battery chances are neither is it's mAh. Therefore, care should be exercised when comparing battery mAh capacity specifications to ensure that comparable discharge rates are used. The correct mAh of consumer personal electronic devices such as cameras, camcorders, mobiles phones and MP3 players etc is one where the discharge test period is equivalent to the industry standard "C Rate" of discharge of that size & type of battery at room temperature. However, if the mAh quoted is when the test discharge takes place over a very long period and subsequently a far less hourly discharge rate than the "C Rate" of discharge for that battery then the mAh capacity of the battery can be very misleading as it can be shown to be as much as double the specified capacity at the "C Rate". UK Buyers. Because all our items are "Free Postage" ebay
software only allows us to refund any postage we have saved due to combined multi-purchases after the item has been paid for. Generally, if the value of combined multi-item purchases is more than £20 we use the saved postage on the 2nd item discount to send the combined parcel by Royal Mail "recorded delivery" with any further combined item attracting a further £1 discount per item.

Non-UK buyers. Because we do not have free postage for

We post your item the same working day of receiving your payment if received before 3pm. (we are always closed Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays). If you do not receive your item after 3 working days of receiving by e-mail our "payment received” notification please phone Stuart between 10.00am & 4.00pm Mon. to Fri. on 01924 380614.
Unlike most other sellers a refund is always given for the full selling price including postage and should you need to return your item/items within 14 days of purchase for whatever reason and whether you have a replacement or a refund, we will pay for the return postage equivalent to the postage service you requested for deliver of the item to yourself. With regard to damaged items we may ask for a scan or photo of the damage to save time and money replacing the item.
Under the distance selling Regulations most "Buy it Now" UK & EU buyers have a legal right within seven days to cancel the sale and if they have received the item to return it to the seller if it is in the same condition as the buyer received the item. NON-DELIVERED ITEMS.
When we first began selling on ebay some six years ago we used to automatically resend any items reported "lost in the post". It soon became evident to us that this was attracting the unscrupulous characters in our society. If we had the same non-delivered claims to sales ratio today we would soon be bankrupt. Instead we began a regime where we request that buyers who report their item has been "lost in the post" to claim via ebay or Paypal for a refund and that is the situation today. We now get very few such claims to such an extent that we might get 2-3 a month and they are usually international buyers.
Of course, this means that we have to make sure everything is posted on time otherwise we would soon lose our ebay Highly Rated Seller Status. Alas, this is inconvenient for sellers when an item does go missing in the post and we apologies for that inconvenience should that happen to your item. However, we always resend "to be signed for" items lost in the post

  We accept payment by post using cheque or postal order when we do not wait for your check to clear and by on-line payments using either PAYPAL or NOCHEX where we are not informed of any details regarding either your debit card, credit card or bank account. What's more you can pay by PAYPAL or NOCHEX using your debit or credit card without having to open a PAYPAL or NOCHEX account.

When paying by credit card using Paypal make sure that Paypal does not require you to pay using Paypal echeques as this can take up to 10 days to clear. In such circumstances we suggest you use Nochex instead which clears immediately no matter how you pay.
