Davidson Jade Flower Bowl No.20 A rare piece of Davidson Jade glass dating to the early 1930s in design no.20. Simply marked on base "MADE IN ENGLAND". When held to the light a lovely lurid, opaque green, in an even colour with little variance. I hope my pictures do it justice. The bowl measures and 2 3/4" tall(7cm), with a rim diameter of 10"(25.7cm), and extends out slightly(27.5cm at widest) before curving back down to the base(13.5cm diameter). Unpacked weight of 1.410kg. No chips or cracks, but does have a small burst bubble on the rim, liitle pit(which is hard to see or feel unless you know), and one near the surface on inside near base, not burst just near surface, a little point. A swirl on the underside of base, and a straw mark on inside, on base. All from production, the only signs of use is very light/minimal marks on inner base. Overall the this bowl is in an excellent condition, I only mention small things which otherwise stop me describing this bowl as being supurb. Please check out my other auctions, in which I have a jade pot by Davidson. |
