Mega-Sonic Cat Repeller

Description:

To start, there are 9 million cats in the UK. Sure, I fully understand your objection that there are only a few in your garden. That is true, but still the mammal society says cats kill around 275 million prey items a year.

Second, the Defenders Mega Sonic Cat Repeller will help protect your garden habitat and encourage wildlife and birds back into it. Plus, the Sonic Cat Repeller detects animals moving into this area and triggers a burst of continuously variable ultrasound. And sweeps a frequency range of 18,000Hz, 24,000 Hz to repel them. Simultaneously the LED indicator on the front of unit signals that it is now activated.

And Third, The Sonic Cat Repeller is powered by two 9V alkaline batteries (not included). Which means battery power is conserved by the PIR detection system. Again, you find the defender cat repeller remains in stand-by between activation periods, therefore maximizing battery life.

PIR (Passive Infra Red) detection system which constantly monitors a fan shaped area of a 98 degrees arc up to a distance of 12 meters. The protected area is over 120 square meters of unobstructed space. The Cat & Dog Repeller detects animals moving into this area and triggers a burst of continuously variable ultrasound.

Simultaneously the LED indicator on the front of the unit signals that it is now activated. The use of battery power enables the repeller to be easily installed in areas of your garden without mains electricity, but the unit can also be mains connected by using an additional DC Mains Adapter

Directions for Use:

• Remove all packaging and carefully read the instructions.
• Remove the cover of the battery compartment at the base of the unit.
• Insert 2 x alkaline 6LR61 9v batteries and replace the cover, ensuring the compartment is closed properly.
• Turn the power switch to the ON position. The unit will activate and remain audible for several seconds, indicating that it is functioning correctly.
• Set up of the unit will vary according to the area the unit is being used to protect.
• Install the unit by inserting a 50cm length of wood into the bracket cavity at the back.
• For wall or fence mounting there is a fixing hole and screw pack provided.
