My previous Dell D630 motherboard with non-Intel graphics failed. I chose this motherboard because it was new, and it had Intel Graphics. I had no trouble with the installation and it is working properly. All of the connectors are now new. Worn out connectors are a problem with used computers. I am planning to update the processor to a Intel T9300 to increase the speed. The motherboard does not include a processor so you are free to select whatever you want. Replacing the motherboard is slightly more complicated than replacing the motherboard and base. However, both approaches give you new connectors.

Motherboard came with the BIOS locked with a password. Was able to use the master password from the site bios-pw site to get into the BIOS. Board brought the Dell D630 back to life for a nephew heading off to college.

Arrived quickly. It is a bit of a chore to replace the motherboard, but this was worth the effort, as it gives life to an older computer that will be sent to deserving folks.

My D630 board's nVidia card died, which is a known issue for their cards manufactured during the time when I bought this system new. I went with the Intel board as is suited my needs and is more linux compatible. Board was easy to install and is working perfectly. Highly recommend this board over the nVidia board, just look up on StartPage or YouTube nVidia 135m reflow if you have any questions about that specific card. The quality of the solder used for those chips was poor. This wasn't just limited to notebook cards, this was all cards manufactured during that timeframe.
refurbished many dell 6900 and 800 series laptops. great value for their age.
