DISCUS DELIGHTS GOURMET DISCUS FOOD HAMPER, WITH 2 X 500 GALLON PACKS OF WORMER PLUS AQUATIC FLUKE, WORM & PARASITE KILLER DEAL, BOTH FOR ONLY £29.99!! FIRST THE DISCUS DELIGHTS GOURMET DISCUS FOOD HAMPER. (Nett weight of pack 210g)
Apart from a fresh new look that will catch the eye on any retailers shelf. In each gourmet hamper is seven different packets of high quality discus food, making a break down on price at under £2.86 per tub. It needs no freezing or fridge storage, just a cool dry place to store and can be used straight from the box and each hamper should last between 4-6 months or more feeding six discus, depending on the size of the fish. If you have other fish in with your discus, just think of it as a posh food for them also and they will love it. Over the last year the foods in the hamper have changed slightly, making sure the lucky gourmet feeders never get bored with the same foods every day.
Sausage, bacon and eggs sound good to me. But imagine dining on that every day, every month all year round. Many breeders have seen a positive difference in productivity of their breeding pairs and have expressed how much healthier they are. The result we think is just simply feeding a wide varied diet, and providing all the levels of essential amino acids and vitamins etc. With some of the foods still in its natural form, this encourages natural feeding behaviour. Also with every one living a fast and busy life style, doesn’t it make sense to have a quick, convenient food that is also safe to feed your fish, with every thing they need all in one box? Many good prepatory foods are available these days, so taking the risk of feeding live tubiflex worms and ungamma rayed frozen foods, as in the old days of fish keeping is totally unnecessary. But with ‘discus delights’ available with seven different foods for each day of the week, is it worth taking that chance? All hamper packs can be deliverd to your door anywhere in the uk.
So what’s in each pack?
NEW!! Discus granules with garlic. 50g
Discus granular feed that helps boost the immue system by utilising only the best ingredients including a 1.5% minimum inclusion of garlic!
Beef heart Plus Flake has long been associated with bluer blues, greener greens and more vibrant reds in discus and other cichlids. The newest addition to our flake line contains 30% beef heart by wet weight - a lot by any measure - a natural source of the carotenoid and anti-oxidant, lycopene. Plus Naturose, a natural source of the carotenoid, astaxanthin. Ideal for discus, angels, tetras, piranha, and even axolotls.
Brine shrimp plus flake
Brine Shrimp Plus Flake is extraordinarily popular among breeders for many reasons. Unlike many of our competitors that advertise "brine shrimp", our inclusion rate of brine shrimp is based on a more meaningful "dry product weight" basis, not the weight of a frozen block of brine shrimp that is, on average, 85% water. Our Brine Shrimp Flake includes a generous amount of - yes - brine shrimp! The nutritional advantages do not end there. We use de-shelled artemia (Your fish don't need difficult-to-digest shells) to create a diet with complex proteins and important enyzmes that are found in your fish's natural diet and that aid in digestion. To this, we add a high HUFA concentrate in order to provide your fish with an excellent source of essential fatty acids. A 2% inclusion rate of spirulina compliments an already great amalgamation of natural sources of carotenoids and other pigments that maintain vibrant colours in your fish. And spirulina is a putative immuno-stimulant that will increase disease resistance in captive fish. A proprietary attractant used in both our Brine Shrimp Flake ignites an immediate feeding response in most fish. Used in commercial hatcheries by professional breeders - an excellent choice for both carnivorous and omnivorous fish.
Sinking discus granules
Ideal food for discus, angels and smaller tropical and marine fish, the granule food designed specifically for them. Easily digestible food is designed specifically for small-sized discus, tetras, small cichlids, guppies and small marine fishes in mind. Nutritious diet allows for rapid growth, good body form and low waste.
Earthworm Plus Flake
Earthworm Plus is intended as a specialized maturation diet made with premium ingredients, including fresh Canadian Night crawlers (Lumbricidae sp.). Earthworm Plus is dried at much lower temperatures than conventional flake so that the benefits of using fresh, Canadian Earthworms are not lost in the processing! Ideal for conditioning breeding pairs! Compared to other proteins, earthworms are one of the best and most complete sources of amino acids for fish.
Garlic Flake Plus
Garlic Flake Plus contains allicin, a putative antimicrobial and antiviral agent used by fish breeders to optimize the health of captive fish. Garlic Plus also contains the nutrient rich, blue-green algae, Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA), stabilized Vitamin C, spirulina and Naturose (a source of astaxanthin) in a high protein, balanced matrix of marine and plant derivatives. Garlic Plus is dried at much lower temperatures than conventional flake so that the benefits of using potent garlic extracts are not lost in the processing! Garlic has been shown to be effective in the prevention of marine ich. Suggested use: For both marine and freshwater fish, as a prophylactic measure to be used intermittently with other feeds. Try this with eels and rays.
Tropical Flake Medley
Tropical Flake Medley is a careful blend of Zooplankton Plus, Garlic Plus, Earthworm Plus, Phytoplankton Plus, and Beef heart Plus Flake Diets, making it a widely accepted, multi-faceted tropical fish flake ideal for both freshwater and marine community tanks. TFM is a robust, full-bodied flake for big fish, aggressive fish, but can also be ground up and used for small and medium-sized fish. The key ingredients that comprise Plus Diets remain intact from start to finish. Because many essential amino acids, vitamins, flavourants and lipids are heat labile, conventional flake processes destroy or alter the very qualities a formulator (or fish breeder) wants to see in a premium fish diet. That is why we are willing to spend a little more money and a little more time for a processing technology that operates at half the temperature of conventional flakers. We're confident that you'll see the added value in your fish, in their health and in their appearance. TFM, like all Plus Diets, has exceptional water stability, so you'll see an improvement in your water quality as well. A great mix of many quality foods, all in one tub for a great treat.
These are the foods we use for our gourmet hampers. But because of availability, we reserve the right to change the foods of the hamper at any time. Nett weight of foods 210g.

WORMER PLUS, AQUATIC FISH WORMER, FLUKE & PARASITE KILLER. 2 X 500 GALLON PACKS.
Many fish come from massive river systems where water changes all the time. This is the difference to keeping them trapped in a ‘glass box’ & with nowhere to escape, unwanted pest can build up & possibly be a problem to fish. Using wormer plus on a regular basis will help keep these pest down. If any fish is in good health, not picked on and kept in the correct conditions worms should not a problem. But as soon as the fish is stressed or bullied, its natural immunity is compromised and worms or other pest can take a hold. A sure sign of a worm problem is when the fish still eats, yet is wafer thin with the famous pinched in look above the eyes. Wormer plus will rid discus & aquarium fish of internal helminths, plus a host of other pest. Although a second dose after four days will be needed in heavy infestations of flukes. So if your discus looks black, emaciated or just worn out use wormer plus on a regular basis and do them a favour. It is not necessary to turn off U/V sterilisation during its application, but it is advisable to remove carbon whilst using this medication for full effect.
Wormer plus can be mixed with other aquarium medications.
100% safe & will not harm the biological filtration.
Can be used with free-swimming fry from one week old.
100% safe to use in aquariums with plants.
An easy to use 30 UK gallon measuring scoop is supplied in every pack, making it easy to measure out and to administer the treatment.
Full instructions are on the back of every pack.
Using wormer plus once a month will help to keep your valued discus & fish in tip top health.
Flubendazole is the effective main active ingredient, & works differently to other fluke treatments by gently starving the parasite. Making this product perfectly safe for regular usage. Naturally sourced calcium carbonate is blended in & acts as a gentle booster and ‘pick me up’ after the pests are killed. A minuscule amount of Natural Calcium carbonate (0.01g) is blended with the Flubenzonal to adjust a very slight drop in PH from adding the Flubenzonal. This cleverly balances out this medication making very little (if any) difference to PH when using wormer plus.
Marketed with the small animal exemption scheme.
It is 100% legal; passed with risk phrases and safety phrases.
It is recommended to worm your fish once a month for trouble free discus keeping.
To use, simply mix in a food grade container half filled with aquarium water; secure tight fitting lid and shake to mix the medication. Add to aquarium over a one-minute period.
Wormer plus will not raise your PH.
Complies with the good manufacturing practice (GMP).
Discus had a bad name as a difficult fish to keep, some said imposable. NOT SO, just misunderstood. As long as they have the right conditions & free of parasites they are just as easy to keep as any other tropical fish. Discus keeping in the old days was regarded as a fish shrouded in mystery, and difficult to keep. Just to be kept by the experts and the highly experienced. It is recommended to worm your discus once a month for trouble free discus keeping and this will give them a flying start if introducing new stock. Now keeping your favourite tropical fish has never been easier.
WARNING: This medication may kill some types of snails.
