This is a DW drumset in every way. No detail has been overlooked, no corners have been cut. Its look and sound are decidedly DW. Custom-inspired, with a new Quarter Turret lug, low mass die-cast claw hook, new badge, logo head and high gloss lacquer finishes, it's designed to get noticed and most importantly, Performance sounds like what you'd expect from DW. Easy to tune, superior sounding HVX shells, along with DW heads by Remo USA, STM™ (Suspension Tom Mounts), True Pitch™ Tuning and DW 45 degree back-cut bearing edges, all make these drums sing.

  • 22x18 /10x8 and 12x9 toms /16x14 floor tom with matching 14.6.5" snare drum. Ebony Stain Lacquer finish.
  • Performance Series offers a brand new shell technology devised by John Good and the DW Custom Shell Shop in California. Combining the latest grain orientation technology and hand-selected North American Hard Rock Maple, Performance Series' proprietary HVX shells deliver a low, punchy fundamental, with ample resonance and projection that's perfectly suited for live applications.
  • Performance Series 8" Toms feature a 7-ply HVX construction, while the Snares feature 10-ply HVX, and the 10"-16", along with all Bass Drums, feature 8-ply HVX construction.
  • DW's patented STM™ (suspension tom mount) system allows drums to vibrate freely, allowing maximum resonance while securely holding the drum in place. Because there are no washers or grommets inhibiting the lug rod receiver, choking is reduced and tuning is as easy as ever.
  • DW Coated/Clear heads by Remo USA come standard on all DW drums and incorporate a coated tone ring for just the right amount of muffling with plenty of resonance. Crimped flesh hoops provide maximum vibration and durability.

THIS DRUM KIT IS BUILT AND TUNED

We want your drums to look and sound great from the outset, so we offer a kit building service to take the strain away from you. We have a team of highly trained  technicians, who are dedicated to building drum kits. Many people do not appreciate that drums are shipped from suppliers in several boxes, with most of the component parts unassembled. The drum shells are quite literally "russian-dolled" inside each other.

Kit Building Service.

We normally offer this service at a small cost of £59, which is pitched to cover our costs only, and not make a profit. 90% of our customers take advantage of this service, because we ensure the following:

  • All of shells are "true". This means that they are perfectly round, free of defects on the inside of the shell and the external finish, and the bearing edges are free of chips or other imperfections.
  • The finish is free of scratches and the colour is consistent on every drum.
  • All mechanical parts on drums, stands and pedals are in perfect working order.
  • The tension bolts are greased, and the shell bearing edges are waxed.
  • All heads are seated correctly on the shells and tensioned using precision tuning devices.
  • The drums are precision tuned so that they respond and have a suitable musical interval between the toms.
  • All you have to do when you get the kit is put the pieces together on the stands and holders, and its ready to play!
  • PLEASE NOTE - IF THE DRUM KIT HAS WOODEN HOOPS THE BASS DRUM WILL BE SHIPPED WITHOUT THEM ATTACHED TO PREVENT DAMAGE IN TRANSIT. THE BASS DRUM WILL HAVE BEEN BUILT AND CHECKED, BUT THEN THE HOOPS TAKEN OFF FOR SHIPPING.

“No fault” returns within 7 days – you can cancel your purchase at anytime either before or up to 7 days after delivery of you product by: • Returning the product to us in person or by post (you must include your receipt with the item). We will refund your payment in full, including the original carriage charge, but you must bear the costs of returning the goods to us.
