We'll the time has come to sell my 996R, I have owned it from new, it was prepared and serviced by JHPerformance Ducati Coventry. Anyone interested in this beautiful motorcycle will no doubt be aware of how rare they are, especially a one owner machine with just 2800 miles. Only 500 were produced worldwide, 350 numbered machines were sold on the internet in less than 6hours another 150 without numbers ("outside the numbers")were held back for race teams for Baylis and Xaus etc. this bike is one of the 150 it is a race bike with lights and mirrors and I have loved every min of owning what is considered a work of art
Now the price, £17999 this will include the number plate V2RRR which is valued at £2000 so compared to other 996R's which have gone up for sale recently with 2and3 owners and 10,000 miles on them I think is more than fair. The bike has been dry stored at my home and has been on SORN for a few years so would benefit from a service before anyone rode it in anger.
I have put some carbon parts on such as heel guards, clutch cover, swing arm cover, and a suede seat with ducati embroidered on it in red, which I bought at Silverstone Italia shop, much better to move around on than the standard seat which I still have along with all the standard heel guards/clutch cover.
Comes with rear stand, Termignoni exhaust and standard ones, also race and standard ECU plus bike cover.
Now the necessary bit, I will not be giving test rides, I will not be sending it to Nigeria, nor will I accept cheques, cash or bank transfer only.
Thanks and I wonder who the lucky one is going to be, and you will be lucky because one owner 996R,s don't come along that often.
Any question just ask
