Ducati Monster S4R, April 2005 - 117bhp and top speed of 145mph
Selling my coveted dream bike to fund a family holiday - gutted. I bought this bike 26 months ago as a 50th birthday present to myself after spending months searching for the very best one available.
Only 7102 miles
Mot until 21/03/15. Taxed until end Sept. 2014. 1400 miles since belt change and oil/filter change. Brake pads all checked and clutch fluid changed 500 miles ago. New battery in March. Rear tyre has done 1000 miles. Front tyre will need replacing soon. Always kept on an Optimate charger. Garaged at all times and only used in wet when caught out. Not a commuting bike, just a fun toy/ornament really.
Standard S4R parts
Carbon front fender, carbon cam belt covers, carbon radiator end caps, carbon side panels (with S4R logo), Marchensi wheels, Brembo brakes, Showa suspension.
Extras - where do I start?
Carbon belly pan, carbon hugger/chain guard, carbon short rear fender (hated the standard Monster fender), LED rear light, Tony Archer seat cover, blue tinted screen, gold anodised brake and clutch resevoir caps, gold shorty adjustable levers, handlebar risers (really comfy riding position), gold chain, gold anodised clutch pressure plate and springs, open clutch cover (be warned, it is noisy - it is a Ducati and we owners love it), Fab radiator cover, performance air filter, ECU upgrade, and the best bit of all is the Termignoni stubby can which sounds utterly fabulous. When you start this bike, it shakes the ground and stirs your soul - no exaggeration.
Also included is a full Ventura luggage rack with extra grab rail option (grab rail not pictured).
The bag is NOT included as it was on loan from a friend.
Also, paddock stand to suit single sided swinging arm, Ducati tool kit and a 'C' spanner for adjusting the chain.
All standard parts that were remover prior to upgrades are included as per the photo.
All books, old MOTs, receipts for parts, spare keys etc are present.
I have just returned from a trip of the Scottish Highlands but won't have much time to use it again this year so have decided to sell it.
First to view this bike will buy it. To see it is to want it. You will not be able to resist.........and I will miss it. Such is life!
For full asking price, I will also include the battery optimiser and the wiring to the battery. also, a 12 volt socket for use with a satnav.
No test rides without proof of insurance and full price in cash in my hand beforehand.
Payment terms - £100 deposit by paypal. Balance in cash. I have a banknote testing lamp to verify authenticity.
