Dulux Rich Matt
Dulux smooth creamy rich matt offers outstanding colour protection through unique colourguard technology from Dulux. This advanced formula has an invisible protective barrier that locks colour to your walls keeping it looking fresh and true for longer.
Before you us;
To get ther best results with Dulux Rich Matt, make sure the surfaces are sound, ckean and dry. (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). before surface preparation, read the information opposite about old lead paints. Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate polycell polyfilla product.
General preparation;
Remove any loose or flaking paint. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease etc. sand down to remove any ‘sheen’. Seal new, bare and porous surfaces, including previously unpainted patterned textured ceiling coatings, new buildings that have a plasterboard finish and wall coverings that are suitable for painting (not vinyl’s or washables). For best results, use dulux sealer for plaster.
How to use;
Ready to use, do not stir. For normal use thinning is not required. However, in hot weather and warm environments, up to 10 % clean water may be added and stirred in to ease application. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Rich Matt using a suitable brush or roller. Where the second coat is required, allow a minimum of 2 hours between coats. When cold or damp, more time must be allowed for the first coat to dry fully. Please note that very slight variation in colour may occur between different cans of coloured paint. When using more than one can it is advisable to mix them together in a larger container or finish in a corner before starting a new can.
Cleaning up after painting;
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning with water.
Precautions- Do Not:
· Use this paint on radiators and other heated surfaces.
· Use or store the paint in extremes of temperature.
· Use abrasive cleaners to clean the painted surface, as this will damage the paint film resulting in some colour being removed. It is not possible to remove colour being remove stains such as red wine, tea, coffee etc.
Precautions –Do:
· Clean the painted surface using a very soft cloth and clean soapy water.
· Use Dulux Realife bathroom in areas of high condensation.
· Use Duliux Realife kitchen in areas that require frequent cleaning.
· Protect the paint from frost.

Safety, Health and Environment information
Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When applying it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary cleanser. Do not use solvent, thinners or whit e spirit. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use or store by hanging on a hook. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste paint. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
