Yep the controller is compatible with the throttle
the 5 smaller wires (Hall sensors)are not needed. If you follow the wiring guide in the advert you shouldn't have any problems.
Your motor should have corresponding blue yellow and green connections
to the motor.
So you can plug those together. If you do not have compatible
plugs you can purchase some cable terminal connectors from Maplin see link...
The next set of wires down are the black and two red wires.... the chunkier ones are the power and return to your battery, the smaller red wire is a key switch line
(if your battery has a key or ignition this wire connects to that). Again if you do not have the appropriate compatible connecter use a 30a terminal block for the main power connections
If you do not have a key switch line from your battery (small red wire) bare the ends of both the main red cable and the key switch line together and
connect both wires to one terminal on the terminal block, connect the other side of the terminal block to the battery
+ - red and connect black - return cables.
The next set of wires are the hall sensor wires, 5 small wires 1 red, black, green, yellow and blue. If you do not have the appropriate connector then use the terminal blocks again, use a small 5a terminal block for these connections.
The small hall sensor wires connect to the hall sensor pick ups in your electric motor there are blue, green and yellow wires like your chunkier phase wires and also red + power and black - return to power the sensors.
The next set of wires are red black and green connected to a black plastic connecter... these are pedal assist PAS wires...
red+ power...green= hall signal...black - return
that is the sensor that is on your crank and synchronizes with your pedaling.
The white wire on its own is a speed limiter...leave this unplugged...plug it together and it limits your motor speed.
The mauve/dark purple wire is a speedo signal cable...leave this unplugged- you probably wont be able to use that.
The next set of wires are the orange and black wires on a white plastic connector, these are brake cut out cables,
both sets of brakes can connect together and then connect to these wires...orange+ power black- return.
Lastly the red green and black wires connected to a white plastic connector are for the throttle...
red + power green= hall signal black- return
Please note :
auto-cruise function are enabled on this controller, after 7 seconds
auto-cruise will kick in, to cancel either blip the throttle or brakes.
