Edinburgh Residence Accommodation for the Edinburgh Festival

 I cannot use my Festival timeshare week at the Edinburgh Residence this year so I am offering this for auction.  This arrangement has the full approval of the Residence.

This is for 3 nights commencing Friday 10th August in a Classic Suite which provided luxury accommodation for 2 people.  A separate auction for four nights commencing 6th August is also available.

The Edinburgh Residence provides the sevice and facilities of a 5 star hotel but with much more spacious, quiet and elegant rooms and large bathroms.  The average size is 41sq m.  Each suite is decorated and equiped to the highest standards and are equipped with in-room dining facilities, a microwave, cutlery and extended minibar.  For full details see the Edinburgh Residence web site at www.edinburghresidence.com.

Each suite is individual in its stlye and shape.  The picture attached is typical and may not be the one allocated.  No meals are included.  Breakfast can be taken in the suite, aftenoon tea and drinks can be taken in the drawing room, dinner can be booked and a room service menu is available.

The Residence is situated in Edinburgh's West End within walking distance of Princes Street, the Scottish National Gallery and many of the Festival Event locations.

The Edinburgh Festival is a world famous event.  The official programme of events includes the best of theatre, music, opera and dance as well as the renouned Military Tattoo.  In parallel the Fringe provided thousands of shows in hundreds of venues featuring every possible type of performance.  Areas of the city are pedestrianised and are full of street artists performing and advertising their shows.

Accommodation at any price is difficult in Edinburgh at this time of year. If available this suite would cost around £750.00  Trip Advisor have awarded the Residence their Choice Award for 2012, the highest accolade they give.  Booking.com rate it as "Fabulous"
