Ekornes Armchair
Beautiful solid teak framed armchair with leather upholstery. This is a superbly comfortable armchair, supportive and soft at the same time. The frame is solid teak and very heavy, it has a lovely warm tone and has wonderful organic lines. The brown leather is in great shape, nicely worn in without having any significant wear, just soft and supple. Made by Ekornes of Norway who still make very high quality leather seating. THE STATED DELIVERY PRICE IS FOR ALL AREAS IN MAINLAND ENGLAND AND WALES. While we make every effort to get your item delivered as quickly as possible, in times of peak demand or for outlying areas deliveries can take up to 21 days. If you would like to arrange your own courier or need to check on the delivery dates please email for details. Most areas are covered more quickly than this, but if in doubt please email for an approx. time scale for your location. For Scotland and Ireland you will need to arrange your own courier.
Payment
1: Cash on collection is perfectly acceptable 2: If an item is being posted out or delivered by courier then payment should be made via paypal. 3: We can also accept payment by personal cheque, however please email in advance to confirm details. Any payment of this type should be made payable to CAROLYNE TICKELL. The winning bidder must email with their collection and payment arrangements within 48 hours of the auction end, failure to do so may result in the item being re listed.
We use a trusted courier company to carry out many of our deliveries, while covering the local area personally. Once an item is purchased we take all relevant delivery information and make the booking with the courier. Our courier then adds the item to their delivery lists and calls the customer to confirm and arrange. This allows the courier to plan routes effectively, and in all cases make delivery at the soonest possible date. If you have specific day/time constraints then please email before making a purchase, the couriers routes cover different areas of the country on particular days and this will determine when they are able to deliver to your area. Delivery is a ONE MAN SERVICE, and while the driver will be more than happy to assist in getting your purchase into your home they will require additional assistance with heavy or bulky items. Assistance with carrying the item after it has left the delivery van is at the discretion of the driver, if there are multiple flights of stairs or difficult access please take this into consideration and ensure that enough help is available at the point of delivery. All items are insured against damage/breakage whilst in transit, this insurance ceases after the item has left the van. In the event of a failed delivery - less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation/no answer at delivery address during alloted delivery slot - a re-delivery charge of £45 will be made.
