Emerson De 'LuXe Upgrade Wiring for Fender Jazz J Bass

These upgrade kits are hand wired in the USA by the good folk at Emerson Custom Guitars. They are relentless in seeking the highest quality parts and components to use in their prewired assemblies. From their premium tolerance CTS potentiometers (+/-10%) to the quality Switchcraft input jacks and Oak Grigsby switches.

 

The De"Luxe" Vintage Series: (Fender Styles) For the vintage purist. Features a custom Emerson/Luxe reproduction of Cornell-Dubilie's "Phonebook" or "Chicklet" ZNW1P1 .1mfd/150vdc cap as used from 1951 to 1958. The Emerson/Luxe reproductions are handmade with 2 very small, parallel .047/100v Vitamin Q type caps (equaling .1mfd). They are the same size as the original caps.

 

Each and every Emerson Custom Prewired Assembly has a Volume Mod on each of the Volume Pots. The Volume Mod helps to retain clarity when you roll back your volume knob, and it also adds a little life to your pickups.

 

Includes:

• (3) CTS 250k Solid Shaft w/.250" Shaft Potentiometers

• (1) Switchcraft 1/4" Mono Input Jack (Made in the USA)

• (1) .1uf Emerson Custom Luxe Chiclet Capacitor@ 150v

• (1) Volume Mod

• Wiring Diagram

 

Most of the hard work on these are done. Just hook up your pickups and you are set to go.
