England 1973 magazine page signed by Alan Clarke, Emlyn Hughes, Ray Clemence, Phil Parkes, Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, Kevin Keegan, Alan Ball, Paul Madeley, John Richards.

Size of item 16 x 10 ¾” 1 fold crease down the centre of the page. Good Strong autographs of all the people including Bobby Moore.

As a Sports Agent Bobby Moore was our very first sports client, when he joined Southend United our local Football club. At the time he did very little work for us because of his illness, although Bobby did explain that to us at the time and he could introduce us to a mate of his Geoff Hurst, who said he would be pleased to consider any work we could give him.  This started our relationship with Geoff Hurst and the 66 team etc. etc.

When Bobby passed on we made contact with Bobby’s first wife Tina Moore (who he was married to during his playing career) and have acted as an agent for her ever since.  This has included television promotions, memorabilia, endorsements, etc etc. Some of these invitations involved other members of the family.

On the memorabilia front, we have sold Bobby Moore worn shirts, boots, Bobby Moore presented memorabilia, his Charity Shield, and lots of items that were presented to him during his career.

We were instrumental in the making of the film “Bobby Moore Hero”, which was produced by Sir David Frost and have been given a credit on the film, which is now regularly shown on TV.

We negotiated sales on a number of items from Bobby Moore’s mother’s neighbor.

items that were given to her by Bobby Moore’s mother. We also handled the sale of items from the original chairman of Oxford City, one of Bobby’s clubs that he managed alongside Harry Redknapp.

We handled the sale of a number of items relating to Bobby that was originally owned by Noel Cantwell who was Bobbies long term friend and the best man at his wedding.

We have around 20 different examples of Bobby Moore’s signature and are used by a number of companies and members of the public to authenticate or verify Bobby’s signature and its many variants and there was certainly plenty of them from the late 50’s up until a week or so before his death.

We have been able to distinguish and identify many fakes and have helped many sellers and buyers.  We also have examples of genuine Bobby Moore signatures that the styles of lettering have gone totally against the grain of his normal signature.

This expertise particularly with Bobby Moore is recognized by the UACC, Aftal, and leading Auction Houses etc etc.  Over the years we have sold a lot of Bobby Moore signed items and up until recently due to our concerns with a number of fakes on the market didn’t wish to put any Bobby Moore’s signatures on certain particular on-line websites.   However, we now feel that the market places is a  much better and dare we say safer selling place than has been in the past and are now quite willing to sell item on other online web sites as well as soccerbid.

Please do not compare either in price or presentation our signed items with pre printed or fake Bobby Moore signed items; we still see them on a very regular basis.  Bobby Moore signatures have a value within the trade and also retail, one would ask why a genuine owner of Bobby Moore signature would wish to sell it far lower than anyone else.  It is a little bit like trying to sell a second hand car, where everybody else in the world is offering it at £5000 and you are offer it at £2000, you begin to wonder if you are buying a genuine item.

Please not that on all our items there is a full certificate of authenticity. Further details about our company you can see later on in the description of our company.

A full authenticity certificate describing our relationship with Bobby Moore comes with each item that we sell.

Please also do not confuse our autographs with the cheap photocopies, fakes and the preprints being sold on other websites. We are senior board directors of AFTAL which is responsible for stopping fakes and forgeries on the memorabilia market, particularly in the UK. We follow the same ethics and stringent authenticity procedures with all our memorabilia.

Postal rates are clearly listed on each item, for extra items the mail will be discounted or even be free as long as the largest heaviest item mail cost is covered

Our returns policy is 7 days if you are not satisfied with this item please give us a call before hand 01702 202036.

You hopefully will want to know who you are giving your money to or maybe we need to convince you to deal with us and not someone else!

Who are we?

soccerbid is part of the P & R Sports Entertainment group. We have been in business for 30 years and our company is predominately a sports and entertainment agency. Our first sports client was Bobby Moore who through illness did not do too much however he introduced us to Sir Geoff Hurst who we represented from 1995 up to January 2011. Through the amount of work that Sir Geoff was getting a number of his own contemporizes made contact with us in order for us to represent them and create commercial income for them. In the latter 90s we were able to give examples to numerous sporting clients of where they were missing out on the opportunity of commercial income from the sale of their autograph. We started predominately dealing with the sale of 1966 player’s autographs, which we then expanded from there on. We came to the rescue on behalf of Wembley concerning the selling off of Wembley seats and turf, which was really the launch of the soccerbid part of the company. All the autographs and memorabilia that we sell were either obtained by us personally from the “name” or obtained from members of the family if the person is deceased or through dealing with the agent or representative for the name concerned. In some cases we may deal with a promoter who has organized a signing with the name.

We have affiliations with many sports management agents and quite often we are the cog in introducing a former sports person or celebrity to a potential promoter who wishes to organize a signing session. We have been involved with the selling of many pieces of original memorabilia from our numerous clients which includes World cup winner’s medals, championship medals, FA cup medals, International caps and worn shirts. In the 1990s we were encouraged by people within the game of football to obtain our football license in order to buy and sell players and at the time our principle David Davies was the youngest licensed full Fifa football agent in the world. David decided that after a few years negotiation with the modern day players and clubs there was more loyalty and enjoyment working with the retired players and expanded this division of the company. Our associate company TOBN.co.uk  The Old Boys Network regularly supplies either other agents or end clients with former sports people. This has included numerous TV adverts, regular media spots within newspapers, appearances on TV programmes and paid for appearances and endorsements or products. We obtained our UACC dealership status in 2007. We had meetings with a few “major” memorabilia companies in order to put together an organization to try and clean up the memorabilia industry this was the original start of AFTAL and we were happy to be one of the consultants dealing with the set up of AFTAL organization. David our boss was happy to just make up the numbers on the board however through default and various occurrences now is the chairman of AFTAL. As figurehead for the AFTAL organization his role is to mediate with the board & AFTAL dealers and try to ensure the buying public only buy memorabilia from the 100 AFTAL dealers spread across Europe

Why are we so late setting up an eBay shop?

The reason for doing this was for a number of years we disagreed with a lot of the items that were allegedly signed by our own clients were being sold online. We feel now with various organizations including UACC and AFTAL trying to clean up the online business EBay is a safer place to do business. We are also looking at other areas of the memorabilia business apart from sport. We have a lot of stock that has been sitting in our warehouse for a number of years and it was time to start selling some. The world wide shop window of EBay will bring us far more window shoppers than our own soccerbid shop however we do encourage you to have a look at soccerbid. We will be adding to our eBay shop from our own soccerbid stock on a fairly regular basis and we look forward to doing business with you.

Why should you deal with us?

Can all our competition offer the same assurances and 30 year back up as us?

When we look at our competition a lot are running their business from a laptop at no fixed address which is fine however as a customer you want assurance that you are dealing with a “proper company” We have purpose built offices, a company registration no, a vat no, we file accounts. As memorabilia is a small part of our turnover reputation takes years to build up and can be lost overnight why do we need to risk that for the sake of a piece of “wrong” memorabilia?

We very much look forward to dealing with you.

Kind Regards
