I purchased this as a backup to my more expensive Washburn performance acoustics. I've played for 20 plus years and am astounded at the tone, build quality and setup. Plays well right out of the box. Compensated saddle is a plus, as well as the strap button on the neck heel and bottom so no need to tie off with cord at the top of the neck. Rich, full bodied sound with better than average stock strings. This is rapidly becoming my go to guitar for general use and performance.

All the strings have this crazy buzzing sound when struck and the 2nd string wouldn't play on the 2nd fret. Had to press the strings really hard to make a sound, the alignment is just horrible. Good thing I returned it in time. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

very nice playing and bright tone...however this particular guitar seems to be a "second".it is nice and pretty but it has some cosmetic flaws that to most would go unnoticed.examples include uncentered sunburst in center of guitar(1/2" or less off center).several taping bleed overs around sound hole and headstock and even a very small splinter that is very unnoticed on the back of guitar.i believe that to most people these flaws are very minor(exspecially for a name brand $100.00 guitar)and would most likely never be seen...between my father and i we have 75 years of guitar modding playing and loving.i will say buy it, it is nice worth the price and just nice to look at.the vintage sunburst is dead on my dad loved it and it is continuing to make him smile.to some epiphone is not good enough for them..what do you want.we both agree if you cant play a $100 guitar you cant play a $1000 guitar!!!Read full review
I picked up one of these at Guitar Center used. After a good setup, it plays as easy as any I've played. I also added a pickup and when it's plugged in, it can hold it's own in a studio setting or on stage. I also love the size, feel, and the look of this little jewel. It's the sunburst finish with spruce top. It makes a good travel guitar or a daily player. This guitar offers a lot of bang for just a few bucks. I'll be holding on to this one for while.

Wonderfully thin neck for a beginner player! Great size and quality for something this cheap. The glue on the inside of the guitar is messy, but it's not like that affects the playability. Side note, the guitar came very well protected in a double-box system, but the E string snapped during shipment and the peg came out, because the pegs are pretty loose-fitting. It was rattling around in the body when I opened it and even after re-stringing I was worried the E and A string pegs would come out (but they haven't).
