Epiphone Les Paul made at the Samick factory in 1999.
A fantastic player's instrument, but if you want a guitar in mint condition - this is probably not for you.
Most people agree that Samick made the best Les Pauls.
This example is all original:
Stunning Birds eye maple top in cherry sunburst
Solid mahogany body and super-slim set neck - long tenon (to my amazement)
Dark rosewood 12" radius fretboard - with unmarked frets - recently dressed
Fantastically low action - laugh-out-loud fast 'ice-skating' playability with current 9-42 D'Addario strings
Kluson aged green tulip tuners
Original uncovered Epiphone pickups (the 1970's Dimarzio upgrade look)
Crackle-free original pots and switch
The exotic birds eye maple top is in excellent condition - with only minor blemishes.
The sides and back of the guitar have taken some hits - see pictures.
You'll know if you can live with them. Invisible when being played.
The strap button by the neck has been moved - and is now in the right position.
I must repeat that the neck is stunningly good - 'Jimmy Page slim' and in excellent condition.
Infact, the perfect base for a Jimmy Page/Peter Green wiring project this Winter.
