Description:

2 no. handwritten copies - of the Inventory of the Personal Estate of James Horn - of Pitmeddon House, Oyne, Aberdeenshire. Who died 13th February, 1874.

Items comprise:- a first rough draft of 7 pages and a similar corrected copy of 6 pages.

The deceased a personal estate to the value of £28,892.

James Horn was a share owner of the 'James Horn', a copper fastened wood schooner Brigantine rig, built in 1865 at Aberdeen.

Also a share owner of the Barque - 'Balgownie'.

An interesting, historic document - in good condition.
