It's the Moody Blues, so you pretty much know what to expect. Although this1971 album is not up to the standard of the superlative On The Threshold of A Dream, there are enough highlights to please most Moodies fans but the melodies are not as sweet as either their earlier work or some of their later albums. It will be in every Moody Blues fan's collection and indeed should be, but it's not their best work in my opinion and the production is a bit muddy in places too.

This cd should be in every music lovers collection. Its more bluesy than other things md has done with some experimental stuff thrown in for good measure. The first time i listened to it i thought what the heck is this!! But i persevered and it is now one of my all time favourite opus's which i think its fair to say it is. I personally love the music of kate bush, fleetwood mac, the eagles, some deep purple, abba and some others. This cd fits into my likes very nicely indeed. Thanks for reading this, graham
