Compactor Wacker plate tips:
Your Evopower compactor has a heavy duty centrifugal clutch. This allows the engine power to be connected to the agitator when the engine rpm is increased. It is good preactice to avoid slipping the clutch, so either have the engine running at tick over when not in use, or above half engine speed when in use. If the engine revs are set to1/4 throttle this may not be fast enough to allow the clutch to grip fully and clutch slip may occur, thus wearing the clutch.
Daily checks - Check the engine oil every day. Also check for loose nuts and bolts, especially when the machine is new. It is good practice to check the tighteness of the nuts and bolts after a few hours use.
Belt tension - After 2 hours use, check the tension of the drive belts - They may stretch slightly in the first couple of hours. If the machine is run with the belts too loose, excessive belt wear may ocurr.
