FABRIC Iron On LETTERS Embroidered Applique Motif on Colourful Felt Alphabet

These attractive fabric felt iron on letters are priced individually, they have embroidered edges and are appliqued with colourful embroidered motifs, each letter is only available in the colour choice shown in the photo.

These can be ironed on or stitched to fabric, they can be washed at max. 40 ºC, preferably 30ºC,  making them ideal for clothing, accessories, pencil cases etc etc.

Approx measurements. Height; 3.5cm Width; from 2cm-5cm Thickness; 1mm

All letters are UPPERCASE and are only available in the one design and colour as shown in the Photo of each individual letter.

Hints and Tips

·        Always wash new garments first to remove sizing as this could prevent the patch from sticking.

·        For best results use a hard surface covered with a towel instead of an ironing board.

·        DO NOT APPLY iron on patches to waterproof rainwear, highly elasticized fabrics, leather, rayon, nylon or similar fabrics.

·        If unsure, test with an iron on a hidden seam or hem to see how much heat the fabric will accept without damage.

·        Cotton and polyester fibre blends will work best.

·        As new fibres are constantly being developed, be sure to test!

·        REMEMBER, you can ALWAYS sew on ANY iron on patch!

·        Alternatively, there are, PERMANENT fabric glues available.

Iron On Instructions

1.   Preheat iron to cotton setting, DO NOT use STEAM.

2.   Place the patch/letter in the desired location and cover with a thin piece of cloth or the ironing paper if enclosed.

3.   Place iron on top and apply firm pressure evenly on the patch for approx 30-40sec. Do not move the iron.

4.   If necessary repeat this process for any unheated areas.

5.   Allow the patch and garment to cool, DO NOT attempt to test if the patch has stuck whilst still warm!

6.   If possible iron the opposite side for approx 30-40 sec to reinforce.

7.   Allow to cool completely. Then test an edge of the patch with your fingernail to ensure it is secure, If not; repeat the process increasing the amount of time by 10% - 20% each time taking care to ensure the patch and fabric are protected.

   Washing Instructions

1.   ALWAYS turn the garment inside out during washing.

2.   Use a cool gentle cycle or hand wash.

3.   NEVER use HOT water or a TUMBLE dryer

PLEASE NOTE: ALL manufacturers will recommend sewing on appliqués and patches for permanent applications.
