ITEM: This is a rare original 1930s double weight matte finish sepia gelatin silver photograph, a dramatic nude with a baloon in a spirited & decidedly Art Deco pose. Our research on this recent Saint Paul estate find leads us to conclude that the model is Zoe Mozert - a female pin-up artist that worked for the Hollywood Movie Magazine titles of the day as well as The Brown  & Bigelow Calendar Company. She often used herself as the model as she was by all accounts quite a looker and graced with a lovely figure. The photographer is also assuredly Earl Moran, who worked in this dramatic light and shadow style both in his pastel works of the era and in the rare surviving examples of his photography we have seen.  This is a rare old document as seen an original gelatin silver photograph on a double weight paper with great clarity and crispness and sepia tones. 

VERSO HAS REMNANTS FROM A PREVIOUS MOUNT NOT AFFECTING THE IMAGE AS SEEN BELOW

CONDITION: This original double weight sepia matte photograph is in very good condition --  this one is sensational as seen the coloring and pose are just fabulous.   A great old antique first generation rare photograph that exhibits dark deep and beautiful sepia coloring and tone and great clarity.
