Welcome to my auction for my ford Capri 2.0 Ghia, its possibly one of the last of the line of the Capri Ghia’s as this model was discontinued in 1982. I purchased this car a few years ago with the intention of restoring it back to its former glory, unfortunately I got so far with it, panelled it up with new cills, lower rear corners and minor body repairs, then I purchased a 2.8i Capri then never got round to finishing this project. 3 former owners (all within the same family, not mine) and showing what seem’s to be a genuine 65,300 miles with the original radio (uncut dash) A quick look around it all looks solid enough (strutt tops, inner wings and under windscreen all look solid enough), it will require restoration in the form of minor body work and a full re spray and a general fettle around, sadly I just have not got the time otherwise I would be completing this project and when completed it will make a fine example. Please take into consideration that this car has been standing for a few years (covered up) and will require being trailered away from my driveway. The car starts and moves and I will blow the tyres up to aid movement before collection. I would say its approx a 98% complete car as all the bits should be within the car (apologies if this not correct), the interior is in very good condition and should all be complete. NO TAX or MOT (SOLD AS SPARES OR REPAIRS) In summary a great project with all the fundamentals for a very rewarding restoration as when complete I believe this car will be genuine little gem, especially for its age. For any questions please text 07974 850779 or through eBay Cash on collection only. Just remember this is a classic car which will only increase in value especially when fully restored. I have been as honest as possible; just take into consideration there may be areas which may have been unintentionally missed, but without intention to mislead. Good luck and thank you for looking |
