FV432 Mk1 APC with Peak GPMG Turret. The Rolls Royce 8 cylinder B81 engine was re-built 2 years ago and starts and runs fine. At the same time the pack was split and checked over and both generators had new bearings fitted. In addition many hoses, fuel lines etc were replaced. The body was stripped and re-painted last year but apart from a few circuits around the fields last summer it has done no real mileage. The interior is complete but has not been touched apart from interior engine casings. Any bits not yet refitted on the outside of the vehicle, ie head light guards, towing cable brackets, two enamel signs, high vis panels for the rear bins etc are with the vehicle. The Peak Turret is complete with its seat and rotates freely. It is missing its sighting periscope but all others, including commanders cuppola and drivers periscopes are present. The machine entered military service in 1965, spending most of its working life in Germany. It was released from the service around 1994. The tracks and pads are good and she sounds great. I simply have too many projects on and something has to go. The vehicle is located 15 miles south of Hereford and it can be driven on to your transport. Do bear in mind that this tracked vehicle weighs it at around 15 tons. The purchaser will be responsible for transportation of the vehicle after purchase. I have added 2 more photographs, showing the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle has 5 bench seats, one of which is not currently fitted but is included in the sale.
