I bought this bike a couple of years ago as a project. I spent a fair bit of time and money on it. Too many other projects have meant its been put to the back of the garage, but now I think its better to move it on.
Its a 201 which is a 1986 monoshock with a 156cc engine. I've had the bike running sweet and managed to get into 2nd in the drive. Its not runing at present as theres no fuel in the tank and I don't want to put any in as I would recommend a good flush before doing so. I spent some money with Bill Pye on various parts to get it too this stage. It had no seat and tank when it came to me so the seat has been made for the bike and the tank is from an old suzuki ts185, it could do with a respray but is quite servicable. It needs the speedo fitting which I have and a good 'shake down - tinker', its 98% complete and just needs a couple of little things like grips, rear light etc. The exhaust appears to be new. I'm selling the bike as a project so please don't expect it to be mint and to ride it home. It is un-registered but I have a letter from Bill Pye confirming the date of manufacture from the frame number for registering it. Buyer to collect with 7 days of auction, cash on collection. Any questions please ask, and please, no messer. |
