I chose to purchase a Fender Acoustasonic 30 having previously owned a Roland AC30, trying out a Marshall acoustic and two other brands. While I like the Roland for output, easy of carry being compact, it was too small and required a stand to lift it up high enough, and not to have to bend almost to the floor to do any adjustments. The Genz-Benz too expensive. Owning several Fenders, I trust the quality and workmanship. I like the tone, easy of use and the ability to give me good output for the environment I use it in. My son has taken it over now and finds it a good fit for church worship. The kick back legs also allow the amp to project upwards, and it looks good. About the only negative is my son and I finding that "sweet spot" on the dials and guitar at this point. Worth the money, YES! Would I buy one again: YES!Read full review
This amp is perfect for 1 or 2 player acoustic gigs! A lot of power in a small portable PA. Perfect for small bars or coffee houses. You plug your guitar in the 1 side and up to 2 mics in the other. I use a 1/4" adapter to plug my wife's mic in the vocal side along with my mic. Call me lazy, but I like traveling with as little gear as possible! This let's me do it and sound good!!!
