My 7 year old already had the first Fifa Street on the Play Station and loved it - I think the attraction was that it was a combination of the jungle MC soundtrack, the cool street soccer backdrops and the fact that it was more about "tricks and skills" as Max says, rather than just a game of football. He also loved that you could concentrate on just a few top players if you wanted. So, it was a firm favourite (with his friends too, who often persuaded him to let them borrow it) and I had high hopes for the DS series 3 version. Not disappointed, my son absolutely loves it. Players are great caricatures and the locations are cool, weird and wonderful (anyone for football on an oil rig?). Soundtrack is different but just as good as the earlier versions. Personally, I'd say that the DS is probably not as good a format for the game as the Play Station, just because of the screen size, but my son is still very impressed. If you have a football mad youngster who has all the usual football games, I'd recommend Fifa Street as something a little bit different.Read full review
