When you get to checkout, you'll see an unusual name. The truth is that I arrived in the UK nearly 20 years ago, having left a crime- and social issue-ridden South Africa for good. Within a day, I was running two jobs, mornings and afternoons at the same time. A short while later I found myself involved with high level security arrangements around the Crown Estate. And later worked myself up to a 50k-a-year job in London. Then, in 2006, my younger brother sadly passed away at the tender age of 32, due to liver cancer and I realised that we all only get one chance in this life. So I took the step to "live my dream", working with cars and motorbikes. It has always been a passion and hobby, ever since servicing tractors on the family farm at the age of 7 and (helped) overhauling an American V8 at the age of 10, there was no doubt what I wanted to do.
And that is how this particular ebay shop came to be.
Rightly or wrongly, I believe that all the clever people out there in most 1st world countries who want us all to keep buying newer, more environment-friendly cars, never actually count the impact of producing a new car (workers travelling/factory running/transport costs/dealerships running/etc/etc). Think governments just want to rake in more taxes - just count all the above stages...
So by doing my bit to keep the old ones going, I feel quite happy.
Now and then friends and family help out which I appreciate endlessly (sometimes I fix/service their cars as a token of appreciation, but could never fully repay them).
Onto the serious side of things:
I check/test every single item before being listed and again, where possible before I package and send it out, just to make double sure and in case it suffered damage/deterioration on the shelf. Naturally, everything is stored in dry and insulated buildings.
On another note, although I am only human, I fully know and understand how frustrating it is to receive incorrect/broken/substandard/late/poorly packaged items in the post, so will always do my level best to provide a top-quality service to my customers.
But PLEASE do not hesitate to get in touch if you feel that I have let you down.

Terms of Sale:
Now, here, I'm not going to bore you with legal rubbish.
Suffice to say that, if you want to pull down my pants, go and try that somewhere else.
I have worked with/serviced/fixed/restored/tuned and raced cars and bikes for a very long time. Quite often, I end up sorting out/fixing "problems" which main dealers have given up on or have suggested major component replacement. If I have to say so myself, I know my way around these kind of things pretty well. I know when I crank is good or not, when a turbo or a piston has got life in it or not. Pretty much 99.9% of the used parts which I sell, come off vehicles which I have personally driven for a period of time in order to establish what works and what doesn't, whether a gearbox is good or not, etc, etc.
Quite often, visitors/friends/family are shocked at the sight of me dismantling mint condition low mileage cars, with long MOT's, for parts.
In short, you're not dealing with a monkey in a greasy scrap yard on minimum wage. Which has a disadvantage for you if you're a crook. On the other hand, if you're not, and just want to fix/sort out the "problem" you're dealing with and need parts and/or advice, then I'll help as best I can. There's many a day when I spend hours of my time helping people with advice and diagnosis (for free!)
If I am not part of the actual fitting process of parts, it is your responsibility to use the services of a suitably qualified/trained/capable technician. This is especially important on the newer, ever so sensitive vehicles and their equipment/parts. The final responsibility of part compatibility and suitability lies with the fitter. Any court will tell you that.
That said, I will do my very best to check suitability, making use of a number of tools, ie experience/gained practical knowledge, parts databases, and frequently, main dealer parts catalogues, by chassis/vin number.
And in the very rare instance that I do make a mistake - I'll put my hands up and make amends - fair and square. But don't expect to get rich quick out of me - my liability - as with everyone else - extends to the price of the item at which I sold it to you.
Having said all that, as a final thought, I do hope that you find buying from me a pleasant experience. In the sense of you get something at a bargain price and I get some money to put towards something else (ie pay the rent) and we're both happy :)
