+ Your chance to own one of the rarest books in the world +
Every book that contains a Fore Edge painting is unique, one of a kind and among some of the rarest books in the world. Many book collectors and dealers have not even had the privilege to hold one, let alone own one.
If you love books as much as I do, you will be thrilled at the idea of owning one of these magical books. I would love to keep these books myself but sadly I do not have enough space to display them properly. So not being able to keep them myself, I would love to know that they are in the safe hands of fellow collectors that will appreciate and cherish them.
This particular book is a Single Fore Edge Painting.
Gently bend the pages and a picture appears.
Close the Book and it magically
disappears beneath the Gilded Fore Edge.

Condition : Poor/Good. Fore edge painting, nice example.
This lovely old book has a beautiful hand painted watercolour of a portrait of Sheridan besideswhat could be the Royal theatre at Coven Garden, London. A Great present for a thesbian or theatre buff. This painting was probably added to the book after it was bound. This interesting and charming volume would make a valuable addition to any collection, not only for the age and subject of the book, but also for the artistic value of the fore-edge painting.
