Description

VITCAS HI-TEMP SILICONE BLACK is a Silicone Sealants for use where good adhesion and a flexible bond is required, with high temperature resistance. It is ideal for sealing around register plates and bonding of materials to withstand temperatures of 300°C. Having an excellent adhesion between most substrates, suited for gap-filling applications and jointing materials of different thermal expansion & where vibration is a problem. Resistant to weathering and ageing – can be used externally.

Application

 Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces to be bonded or sealed.
 A light surface abrasion of the material to be bonded will increase the surface area available for
adhesion and improve mechanical key.
 Apply the sealant as supplied to all surfaces to be bonded and complete tooling within 5-10
minutes.
 Clean any unwanted silicone immediately using xylene and a cloth.
 Apply moderate pressure to ensure even anchorage and solid contact of the surfaces to be
bonded, so that all surfaces are fully wetted.
 Curing starts at the surface and works inward. Humidity and ambient temperature can alter curing
rate.
 Always work in a well-ventilated area.
Curing Schedule
 The curing of this product may vary depending on temperature, humidity, porosity of substrates,
glue line thickness and area etc. A rough guide for typical applications at room temperature and
average humidity would be approximately 36-48 hours.
 Once cured, the strength of the silicone will continue to increase for up to 7 days.
 Curing may be accelerated by the application of gentle heat (do not exceed 70C).

A: Our couriers delivery Monday to Friday between 8-5pm. The majority of deliveries will be in the morning, but this can't be guaranteed.

Q: Can I collect?

A: Unfortunately, we are not set up for collections at this time.

Q: What happens if I miss my delivery?

A: In most cases the courier will leave a card and you can re-arrange the delivery at a more convenient time. For larger items such as stoves, it is recomended that you ensure that you are in on the scheduled delivery date. You will receive full tracking information for your order.

Q: Can I return items to you?

A: Yes, in the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is incorrect we will replace. Additionally we have a full 7 day's returns ploicy.
