Large Barns can be converted to gites etc, endless possibilities and potential. Remains of old chapel.
Long driveway to property. Parking for many cars. Stunning tower with stone steps.

Located near small hamlet in rural countryside 6 km from beach and Bricqeubec. 30 minutes from Cherbourg ferry. 45min from Utha D-Day landing beach. 1hr to Bayeux (Bayeux Tapistry)

Baker delivers weekly to property. The town of Bricquebec has 2 supermarkets, banks, schools etc and a beautiful chateau. Carteret is a pretty seaside town 15 minutes away which has some amazing restaurants.

Built on an ancient Viking settlement site. This Manoir can be traced back to Philippe Auguste in 1210 and later in May 1298 an act was signed between Robert Bertran and brothers Richard and Jean de Lanquetot. The family still owned the Manoir during the 14th century because records show that their “title” was burned and destroyed by a fire in one of the bedrooms (believed to have occurred during battle) by the 16th century ownership had passed to the family of Camprond, and records show that a Jacques de Camprond still held titles to the Manoir around 1786 (French Revolution was 1789)

An anonymous person engraved the date “1789” in one of the window arches, no doubt to symbolize the French Revolution.
