I would like to collect a laptop is that possible?
No sorry we can not offer a collection option as these laptops are shipped directly from our secure warehouse.
Where can you ship a laptop to?
We only ship to mainland UK addresses (we can also ship to NI and ROI for an additional £22.50 charge)
Can I return the laptop if I don't like it?
NO. This Grade X clearance laptop is sold by auction, auction sales are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations (D.S.R.).
The laptop is still covered by our limited RTB warranty as stated and other statutory legislation however we do not accept a return
because you have simply changed your mind, "dont like the colour" or any other non-fault based issue.
Warranty repair, can I have my laptop fixed locally if I suspect a fault?
No, your warranty is with us, we will not refund any costs incurred if you take the laptop to a third party. Our warranty covers genuine
failure of your laptop (ie, not damaged / software issues). If your laptop is repairable but damaged and not covered by our warranty
(ie smashed screen) then we will quote you for the repair which if undertaken must be paid for before the laptop is returned.
What condition is the laptop in, does it have marks or scratches?
As these are used laptops the vast majority will have some marks or scratches etc - see condition guide above.
Why is the battery stated as 'taking a charge but unwarranted', how long does it work for?
We don't give a warranty as to how long a used battery will work - any battery can be working fine one day and dead the next. If the
listing says the battery is 'taking a charge' then when the power supply is unplugged the laptop works on the battery we just can't
warrant how long it will work for. If you want a price for a new battery before you buy a laptop please contact our sales team.
Is the laptop pictured the one I will receive?
In most cases no, but the pictures will be representative of the make/model and condition of the laptop you are buying. We have so
many laptops and duplicates of the same make/model it is not possible to photograph each and every one. If the laptop is a 'one off'
or has specific damage or marks then we may photograph it for that reason. If so it will be stated clearly in the listing. If you have a
specific questions about the condition of a laptop please ask. Most auction laptops will be the one pictured - email for confirmation.
Does this laptop connect to a wireless router or hot spot?
Wireless capability will be stated in the listing - some routers may need to be reconfigured to WEP encryption to work properly. This
is not a 'fault' with the router or the laptop but caused by the changing methods of wireless encryption.
Is the keyboard UK layout?
99.9% of our laptops are UK layout - if not it will be stated CLEARLY in the listing.
How do I pay for my laptop and optional extras / upgrades?
We require payment in 4 days via PayPal when you purchase via an auction. If you want optional extras/upgrades just say what you
want in your PayPal payment message and we will create an ebay listing for the optional extra/upgrades requested.
