Full size detailed reproduction TV Prop "Remembrance" Dalek with Voice System

Detailed reproduction TV Prop from the BBC series 'Doctor Who' manufactured from moulds taken from a dalek purchased by 'This Planet Earth Ltd' from BBC Visual Effects, officially licensed by BBC Worldwide Ltd complete with certificate of authenticity and optional Dalek Voice System with remote control.

The dalek is a completely authentic dalek in black and silver (the "Supreme" dalek) which is as close to the actual prop as possible, maufactured as created in glass reinforced plastic (fibreglass) using the same material as the on screen TV daleks in the late 80's "Remembrance of the Daleks" series starring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred. The lights on the top of the dalek are exactly the same as those used in the TV series in the late 80's.

The dalek has a height of 5 feet 3 inches with a base max width of 34 inches. Base maximum front to back is 43 inches (all measurements are approximate).

The arms are on ball joints and move around. The plunger arm extends in and out. The dome rotates on ball bearing transfer units through 360 degrees. The eye pivots up and down (does not have internal control stick). The complete dalek can be pushed on its four small wheels (built into the base frame).

The base frame (including the rubber surround) is removable and the main skirt which contains the half spheres can be tipped upside down to go through a door. The skirt is slightly flexible also. As a last measure for the narrowest of doorways the half spheres on the left and right outer edges can be unscrewed.

The dalek is hollow and comes apart into several major sections in exactly the same way that the TV daleks did.

The dalek comes complete with the optional voice unit, Maplin 12v power supply and small remote control. The remote control has six buttons which trigger the following messages (spoken and the dalek 'ears' flash in sync):

1. "Move"
2. "You will be Exterminated"
3. "We Await Your Command"
4. "You Will Obey the Daleks or You Will Be Exterminated"
5. "We Obey"
6. Exterminator 'zapping sound'

The dalek has been kept indoors (lounge) since original purchase. However the rubber around the skirt and the eye stick requires some glue to restore the unit to its original condition (I never glued them in place, which has made disassembly for another move much easier!)

The purchaser must collect the unit in person and can pay cash on collection.  The unit is available for inspection at London SW8 prior to purchase for those who can travel to that address.
