DESCRIPTION

A beautifully proportioned 1960s/70s Teak & Afrormosia console table manufactured by G-Plan (Fresco range)

The console has a minimilistic appearance with two good sized drawers to the centre with contrasting solid Afrormosia handles and a stunning solid Afrormosia base.

A stylish & flexible piece of furniture that would work equally well as a console table or small desk.

In superb restored condition - it would make a great addition to any vintage/mid-century inspired interior.

CONDITION

In superb restored condition, there may be some very minor polished in marks as to be expected for its age but nothing to detract from the vintage appeal of this piece. Please take a look at the photographs for more detail.

COLLECTION

• Collections are welcome by prior arrangement, and we will always try to be as flexible as possible with dates/times.
• We are located very close to both the M40/M1 Motorway networks, and the M6 is just ten minutes away.
• Items should be collected within 2 weeks of the auction end. We try to be as flexible as possible, so please contact us for more information.

We started out selling furniture on ebay purely because we had bought too much to fit in our own house and we needed to reluctantly sell some of it! But, we enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to make it our business. WHY BUY VINTAGE?

The appeal of mid-century furniture has grown rapidly over the past few years, making it a good area for investment. Pieces usually retain or increase in value. It is also kinder to the environment – recycling instead of buying new certainly makes a difference. And finally, mid-century furniture is beautiful, most often made by craftsmen, and is usually produced in limited numbers, or has become rare – so you can be rest assured that every Tom, Dick and Harry won’t have it (no offence to Tom, Dick and Harry’s out there!).
