Glass pack to suit Jeld Wen centre bar casement style timber window.

This glass pack is to suit a 1195mm wide x 1195mm high Jeld Wen centre bar casement style timber window which has a single side opening casement and is pictured below in a left handed version. This pack will suit both left and right handed versions. The window is not included in this listing and would need to be purchased from our Ebay shop separately. This glass pack will suit this window pattern and size only, please check that you are committing to the correct items.

This glass pack contains 4 pieces/units of glass which is supplied loose. There are several specifications of the glass. At the top of this listing, near where the price is displayed, is a drop down menu for you to select the glass you want to purchase. The specifications are as follows:

• "K" glass (or equivalent product) clear: Air filled, 24mm (4-16-4mm) units, non-toughened, aluminium silver edge spacer.
• "K" glass (or equivalent product) stippolyte: Air filled, 24mm (4-16-4mm) units, non-toughened, aluminium silver edge spacer.
• Softcoat clear: Argon filled, 24mm (4-16-4mm) units, non-toughened, black warm edge spacer.
• Softcoat stippolyte: Argon filled, 24mm (4-16-4mm) units, non-toughened, black warm edge spacer.

The benefits of the softcoat glass options are as follows:

• Better thermal insulation properties. This comes from the softcoat coating on the glass and the argon gas fill within the unit.
• Minimal thermal transference through the spacer. The warm edge spacer is designed to minimise both cold from the outer pane transferring through the spacer to the inner pane, and heat from the inner pane transferring to the outer pane. As an added benefit, the spacer reduces the chance of condensation.

All the glass packs to this listing use non-toughened glass; below is a diagram which shows where toughened glass is needed according to current building regulations. Any panes of glass that the grey area touches, in the diagrams below, will need to be toughened glass. This item is to be purchased in tandem with the corresponding Jeld Wen window. If you order the window and it's corresponding glass, the delivery cost of the glass will cover the delivery cost of the window as well as the glass. This only applies if the window and glass are delivered at the same time. Any costs for the delivery of the window frame will be refunded if you are buying this item in conjunction with it, or alternately please ask for a combined invoice before paying.
