| Item Description | UNIVERSAL WET / DRY ROD TYPE HEATING ELEMENTS 220/240 VOLTS This fixed price listing is for one HEATING ELEMENT as shown in the picture below. These Incaloy elements are one of our best sellers due to the wide range of applications they can be used for. The elements are supplied in straight lengths and can be shaped to suit your particular application. For simple U shapes and long curves the elements can easily be shaped by hand, however for more intricate shapes and tight bends we advise using a small pipe bender. The elements have 2" cold ends and have a 4mm ba thread connection to accept standard eyelet terminals or ceramic connector blocks. These elements can be used wet or dry but if you are using them for wet applications then you will need a gland kit, the gland kits for these elements are part number GL06 and can be purchased in our ebay shop. Add one gland kit to your order for each element purchased. Please see picture below and check item title for the length and wattage of this element, various other lengths and wattages are available off the shelf for quick delivery. Most elements up to 48" are posted out in strong straight tubes, due to handling and area restrictions by some couriers longer lengths may be packaged in a loose U-shape or a loose coil that can be rolled out and straightened again once delivered. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that electric heating elements are NOT supplied with any warranty, if your original element has blown there may be some underlying fault that has led to the eventual failure of your element and if not rectified could result in damage caused to the new element, heating elements are treated along the same lines as glass heat lamps and bulbs, we can not predict the lifespan of an element as we have no control of the environment it is to be used in, in our 20 + years of trading we have found that elements can last 10 years or 10 minutes (slight exaggeration intended) depending on the installation and / or environmental conditions, for this reason we can not offer any warranty against elements. It is your responsibilty to assess the suitablility of this type of element for your particular application, returns and refunds wil not be accepted for blown or faulty heating elements. We strongly advise that any parts are diagnosed, installed and tested by a suitably qualified person. | Important Information | POSTAGE / DELIVERY Orders processed before 3:45 pm Monday to Friday are dispatched same day, the next working day delivery by courier service is to mainland UK only, please note that certain remote areas (Highlands & Islands) and Northern Ireland are not covered by our daily couriers, these areas will have to be sent using royal mail or an alternative service. Please also note that normal next day delivery is Monday to Friday only, parts sent out on a Friday will not normally be delivered until the next normal working day which would be Monday, if you require Saturday delivery please call us before completing checkout. We ask that you include a contact telephone number when completing the sale for us to place on the couriers manifest, our couriers will not take parcels without a contact number. A signature is required for each parcel. Parcels sent out on the standard next day courier can be delivered any time between 7:00 am & 6:30 pm. If nobody is available to sign for the parcel then the driver may leave a card and you may have to contact them to arrange re-delivery. If nobody is available then the parcel will be returned to us. Please unpack and check all items before signing for them, we can not be held responsible for any items that have been signed for as ok and then later reported as damaged.
