HEARSE BONNET EMBLEM....CAR MASCOT
I was told it was removed from a very old Opal truck that had been coach built
for use as a hearse in Spain in the early 1920's and scrapped in the 70's.
Not exactly a "lucky mascot" but still an unusual item.
This week I'm also listing a pair of electric carriage lamps from the same vehicle.
Heavy solid brass casting.
Measures 4-1/4" (108mm) high + 5/8" (15mm) thread stud.
Item and packing weigh 500g
