HG Hagesan Mould Spray - 500ml

Description: HG Mould Spray effectively removes all black and brown stains caused by mould, fungus, moss and algae inside and outside. HG Mould Spray bleaches grey and black mould spots and green algae spots.

These unsightly black or brown marks are found on the silicon seal between the bath tub and edges of tiles, on the shower cubicles and on plaster. For cleaning tiled walls, (also suitable for marble) and grouting in the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, cellar, basement, sauna, garage, shed etc. It also cleans facades, balconies, plant boxes and garden ornaments but NOT wood.

For treating mould or mildew on ceilings and interior and exterior walls we recommend using our Fungicidal Wash

For cleaning wood and large surfaces with green deposits we advise using HG Green Slime Remover. For outdoor hard surfaces see our Mould Magic Spray. Mould is caused by high humidity. A HG Moisture Absorber reduces the relative humidity in damp rooms to an acceptable level. This prevents all the undesirable consequences such as condensation, a musty smell, mould, damp patches, vermin and wood rot. You can easily measure the relative atmospheric humidity using our Hygrometer. It is recommended to use our Odour Respirator Mask when using this product in confined spaces.

Usage Instructions: The product has a bleaching action. If in doubt first test on an inconspicuous area or a discrete place. Do not remove fungi and algae, but remove moss layers before using the product. This product has a child saftey spray nozzle. Press on top of the nipple at the front of the pump and turn a quarter (STREAM or SPRAY). Spray the surface from 3-5 cm distance and leave it to work for 30 minutes.

In the case of stubborn stains, spray again and leave to work for another 30 minutes. Clean the sprayed surface with a sponge and water. Elastic grouting (for instance silicone paste) must be washed off after 30 minutes and treated again.

Turn the nipple a quarter backwards after use into the saftey position. For cleaning large surfaces with green deposits we advise using HG Green Slime Remover.

Dosage: 500ml of Mould Spray is suitable for 2-3 square metres of wall surfaces, 6-8 square metres of tiled floors.

Attention: Ventilate well during use. Wear rubber / plastic gloves. Prevent splashing on clothing, (high) gloss paint and laminated blinds. Rinse with water immediately in case of contact with skin, clothing and sensitive surfaces. Avoid contact with metals and do not treat coloured surfaces. We do not recommend using this product on artexed ceilings.

In elastic grouting (for instance silicone paste) sometimes some permanent brown discolouration may occur after use. In badly glazed tiles and old tiles with hairline cracks brown discolouration may appear. This brown colour can be removed with Hypo (Sodium Thiosulfate) which can be obtained from Homecare Essentials - please contact us if required.

How long do I have to wait for my order to arrive? Delivery of your products should be made within 2-5 working days of purchase.

You will receive e-mail confirmation when your order has been despatched. If the item is via Royal Mail please look out for the package as it may be too big to fit through a letterbox and may need to be collected from your local Post Office or Royal Mail Depot.

Non-Delivery of items must be reported to us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Failure to notify us of a non-receipt of order within 7 days of the expected delivery date may result in any claim being invalid.

Can I specify a day or time for delivery? We will always do our best to get the order to you when you want it. If you have any particular requirements please call us. Timed deliveries and Guaranteed Next Day Services and Saturday Morning Deliveries are all available at an additional cost and can be organised by contacting us.

Do I have to sign for my parcel? Not necessarily. Unless otherwise stated, we can leave it in the shed, with your neighbour, behind a plant pot... just tell us where you'd like us to leave it and we'll do our best. You can do this by entering the delivery instructions when paying us by PayPal or call us on 01733 241960.

What if I am out when the courier tries to deliver? Unless otherwise stated, they will leave a note explaining that they tried to deliver your parcel and what will happen next. Can I send my parcel to a different address? Yes - just put the address details in as you checkout.
