How to order one of our quality made to measure
1. Choose the colour for your Blackout Roller Blind.
2. Choose the size (Width & Drop in mm) you require by rounding UP TO the nearest Width & Drop in the drop-down menu.
(Please ensure you add the exact measurements in the "notes to seller box" so that we can make sure we 'make to measure' your Blackout Roller Blind).
An example of rounding UP TO the nearest Width & Drop would be:
If the measurements for your Blackout Roller Blind need to be 880mm wide x 1825mm drop, then the correct listing from the drop-down menu will
be for ‘width up to 1000mm’ and ‘drop up to 2100mm’.
3. Select your fitting type.
(Please ensure you include your fitting type in the "notes to seller box")
Your Fitting Type Options would be 'Recess' or 'Exact'
a) - Recess. You provide us with the total width and
drop measurements inside the window recess. We will make the necessary
deductions for the Blackout Roller Blind to fit perfectly.
b) - Exact. You provide us with the
exact size you would like the finished blind to be. We do not make any

Remember:- In the ''notes to seller'' box please state:
the exact measurements (Width & Drop in mm) of your blind;
your fitting type (Recess or Exact);
the control side (left or right as you look at the window).
TIPS FOR MEASURING
your windows to decide what size roller blind to order is less daunting than it sounds. Just follow these
REMEMBER: Use a metal tape measure to take measurements and take down measurements in mm (millimetres) as this is the most accurate way of measuring for your Roller Blind!
Take 3 measurements for the width of the recess from wall to wall and write down
the shortest measurement. We
will make the necessary deduction of 12mm for the fitting and brackets to ensure
the Roller Blind operates perfectly within the window
3 measurements for the drop of the window recess (heads to sill). Write down the
shortest of these measurements. This is the recess drop. We will make the
necessary deductions for the fittings & brackets to ensure the Roller Blind
operates perfectly within the window
this option if you intend to fit the blind on the inside of the
recess. Please ensure you provide us with the exact measurements and we
will allow for the necessary tolerances.
b. Exact Blind
Decide by how much you want the Roller Blind to overlap the recess at each side. We recommend at least 70mm
each side to minimise light leakage.
this option if you intend to fit the blind on the outside of the
recess overlapping the window. In this case we will make the blind to
your specified dimensions with no deductions.
Take the overall width measurement (mm) including the overlap that you want. This is the Exact Blind
Width.Decide by how much you want the Roller Blind to overlap the recess at the top & bottom of the window. We recommend at
least 70mm at the top if the blind is required to roll up fully above the window
