So all nature lovers, artists, people who just want to get out of this darned rat race for a few weeks of the year, this most certainly will fulfill your wish. The forests surrounding the house are just a 100 yard walk and you would think you were in a Walt Disney film, 12 inch deep moss, and the most fantastic lichens drooling from the trees, there is a fantastic 80 foot waterfall just up the forest at the back of the house which is quite spectacular. The Forestry Commission have opened a road through the forest about four miles down the road from the cottage which goes up and over the mountain to Loch Fyne, we have just been on this route and found it absolutely fantastic, with incredible views of Loch Awe, and a Hide Cabin equipped with binoculars to view the wildlife.
