Bought to try and get a better coupling between a DAPOL class 59 and rake of wagons. Still droops, but not the fault of these couplings. Having changed the locomotive and first wagon couplings to these, there is a slight improvement and they do shunt a little better but overall still poor. 3 stars given as some couplings do not fit into the NEM pockets on the loco. Don't know if its the loco or the couplings though. It was worth a try and I'm not overly disappointed. Delivered on time.

    Makes coupling your rolling stock more compatible.

    These couplings are just the job. They fit into any NEM's socket and are particularly useful when coupling your locomotive to older rolling stock with the traditional tension lock coupling. This is especially good if your model railway has sharp curves. It may solve those pesky derailments when the narrow coupling hooks up the larger version.

    NEM Couplings

    An easy to install replacement the standard "too narrow" NEM hook and bar couplings if you want / like the old style Hornby "Tension-Lock" ones. If there is not enough space to accommodate them, then there is the medium width variant.
