Delivery

Our standard rate delivery is Royal Mail Tracked ( a 2 day service), and express delivery is by Parcelforce24. Overseas orders are sent by registered Airmail. For any other delivery options, please contact us. All items are sent out in anti-static material where necessary, and packaged properly to survive the journey. Where possible we try to use recyclable materials to avoid landfill, this includes void-fill material.

Returning an item

To ensure the safe return of your items and the correct allocation of the items to your order please read the following guidelines.

Please contact us directly to receive an RMA before sending anything back to us.

Please print the return documentation sent to you and include it in your returned package. Please take your time to fill in as much information as practical to assist with your RMA.

Please return the item in antistatic packaging (if it was sent out with either a silver coloured bag or pink anti-static bubble material, then it must be returned in this way). Where possible please use the same packaging as it was delivered. For new items, you must return the item in the manufacturer's original packaging. Returns are not accepted where items are insecurely packaged, and/or not in their antistatic bag where appropriate.

End-of-life - you can send this item back for free recycling at the end of it's life. Please note that you are responsible for the return cost of this service. Please mark packages as "WEEE return" to the address supplied in the contact page.

30 day guarantee

Our 30 day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, sealed software or consumables must be unopened). We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 14 days unless they are faulty. Special order items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Delivery charges are not refundable unless the item is faulty, or damaged in transit.

In the event us sending you a replacement for a damaged, incorrect or faulty item, you must return the item to us within 30 days, unless instructed to the contrary writing. Blackmore reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 30 days. Please use the standard RMA process for returning items.

Distance Selling Regulations and your right to cancel

All consumers have a right to cancel your order for fixed-price items (your cooling off period) - this is 7 days from the date of the sale. Simply let us know in writing by using the eBay messaging system that you wish to cancel your order. This right does not apply to Auction listings (you are entering into a legally-binding contract to buy by bidding on any auction listing), nor does this apply to an business buyers. If you are having an item delivered to your work address, please make sure that your paypal delivery address makes it clear that this is a personal delivery to avoid confusion. If your order has already been dispatched to you, you will be responsible for the costs of either us collecting, or you returning the item to us.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Due to the nature of our business, site security is imperative, so unfortunately it is not possible for callers to collect items in person. Thank you for looking at our eBay shop.

Terms and Conditions

Invoices - All our invoices are sent automatically to your eBay email address as a .pdf file. We do not send any paper invoices unless requested. All invoices show VAT separately where applicable. All non-EU shipments need to display the correct value of the item - you are responsible for any local import tax/duty applicable to your country. We cannot mark any items as a gift.

What is included? Unless mentioned in the description, there will be no other parts provided - E.g. motherboards will not be supplied with riser boards, memory, cpus or anything similar - what you see in the photo is all you get. We cannot provide any driver disks, and it is always recommended to download the latest driver from the manufacturer's site in any case. We do not provide any used power cables with any equipment. Complete systems will come without any operating system loaded unless mentioned in the listing. Rack-mounted equipment will not be delivered with the rack mounting hardware kits unless mentioned in the listing.

Condition codes are applicable to each fixed price item - Please read the first word of each listing for the meaning. USED is a second user part that is fully functional, but will clearly show signs of use. REFURBISHED is a second user part that has no major cosmetic defect and may have had parts replaced as required. NEW is a new item, although not necessarily retail boxed. NEW/BOXED is a new item complete in it's retail box.

Payment - We prefer buyers to pay using PayPal for all eBay purchases. We can accept cheques drawn on a UK bank, credit or debit cards over the phone, or postal orders. Please note we only ship items to your registered credit card address - we cannot ship to any third party address for credit/debit card payments. If paying by Postal order, we can only offer refunds in the form of a cheque or paypal payment. We do not accept bank transfers for any sales where the order value is less than £500/$500/€500. Please ensure that your payment reaches us within 7 days. Our system automatically sends payment reminders and creates eBay disputes for unpaid items. If you want any order combining, please use the eBay messaging system to request a combined shipment price. PayPal e-cheques can take a considerable time to clear (often this runs into weeks rather than days) if your paypal payment is showing as pending, then this is usually the case - please contact us via ebay's messaging system if you wish to cancel this type of payment and pay by alternative methods.

VAT - all prices shown are fully inclusive of any UK tax where applicable. The price you see is the price that you will pay - there will be no surcharges, however, you may still be responsible for your local import tax for orders send out of the EC.

Quesions - We don't generally know if any particular part is compatible with your system unless it is clearly mentioned in the listing. It is recommended to contact your system manufacturer for compatiblity questions. We cannot offer tech support - if your laptop has a blank screen, it's impossible for us to say which part has failed over the telephone or email. If you are having technical issues with any part supplied, please contact us using ebay's messaging system from the item in question. Please ask questions in English - but please don't put your question through a translator tool - they are usually impossible to answer when this has been done. We employ some staff that can speak French, Polish and Portugese, although please bear in mind some technical terms can be difficult to understand. All our available stock is listed on eBay - if no quantity is shown then we only have 1 available.

Feedback and Seller Ratings - we always leave positive feedback once an item is paid for - please let us know before either leaving negative/neutral feedback, or less that 5 stars in any category. This will help us improve our service. Please also try to bear in mind that once an item has been sent using the Royal Mail, it's out of our control, and not really our fault if it takes an extra day or so to reach you.

Data Protection - we never share any information with any third parties, and any data we hold about you is to allow us to process your order and comply with any legal regulations. We do not store any credit card information in any of our systems. All card payments over the phone are manually recorded and your details shredded in a cross-cut shredder after the payment has been made. We do not "spam" any customers with special offers etc, but we will send you emails about updates to your order with us, or any important/legal information.

Shipping - Most UK orders are free shipping, however there may be a delivery surcharge for heavier items sent to the Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any Islands. This will only apply to combined orders over 2kgs including packaging. The rate for European and worldwide orders is shown in the eBay shipping tab. eBay doesn't always show all the countries available - if you country is not shown, then the USA rate usually applies for shipping.
