The HTC Desire C is an overall good phone with very good value for money which runs Android 44.0 ICS. The size is very handy for everyday use and the interface (HTC Sense) is good as well. Meets or exceeds many smartphone expectations except when high specs are concerned. The drawbacks are: - Battery life is limited when the phone is used on browsing and videos for prolonged time, - processor speed is a bit on the low side and is noticeable. For example when viewing of videos is changed upon tilting the phone from vertical to horizontal and vice versa while playing from Youtube. -upgrades to software by HTC from Android 4.0 to 4.1 JB etc will not take place any further as memory is 512MB. Hope this helps :)
I bought this phone for my wife, it is her first smartphone. She has learned all the essential features to enable her to keep in touch with friends and family in ways that she couldn't do before on her old mobile. Battery life is excellent, but it does not get heavy usage. Overall we are very please with the phone and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to get into the smartphone world.
Arrived quickly, product as described, easy to use, no problems at all. Much easier to use than previous phone and apps easy to download - only problem is you get hooked on some of the games! The 'Map my Walk' app is great and encourages you to get fit as constantly trying to improve averages.
