I chose this smartphone rather than the Iphone or the Samsung Galaxy because of its 8 Megapixel camera, the ability to increase the microsd card and the battery. This is my first smartphone and I am finding more uses for it that I had considered when I purchased it. The only problem I have had so far is with Skype's Android software - but that has nothing to do with the smartphone itself. I recently used it on holiday to take photos and videos and am very pleased with the results and ease of use. It was easy to set up to receive text and email messages. It is an excellent product, which I highly recommend to others.
I bought this phone because i wanted something that can do almost everything in one small phone for me. Its a small and compact phone but it sure does pack a load of features such as HTC sence, Microsoft Office, Email, Fcaebook, Fast internet, Multitouch and 2 homescreens. It is pretty fast even if there are multiple applications open thanks to its 600mHz proccesser and a 384MB RAM. 3.5 mm stereo audio jack is very handy if you want to use different types of earphones/Headphones. The built in GPS is a very useful feature sometimes. Another feature i liked was the ability to use the phone as a Wi-Fi Router. However there a few things i didnt like about this phone. The onscreen keyboard both landscape and normal have very small keys. This is because of the unwanted extra keys that have been added however the spell checker and auto corrector is very impressive. The phone has a 320 X 480 HVGA screen which is not imppressive at all. It is hard to make out small letters and numbers. The worst of all problems is the battery life. Standby time is 1 day and a half. HTC say its longer but trust me it aint. This is all i can say for now but please check out other review sites where you can get more info. I would recommend trying the phone for yourself before buying(Highly recommended) Visit this site for Tech Specs: http://www.htc.com/www/product/hdmini/specification.html Hope i Helped Cheers SunnyRead full review
I have always been an HTC fan but my hero was HTC TyTnII. It worked flawlessly for the past three years. Now I shifted to HTC HD Mini. The most significant disadvantage is the keyboard. Writing an sms or changing the address is a pain, when compared to Tytn II. The battery itself isn't great and needs recharging every day. Finally it is quite sensitive to touch: if you have it running your GPS software, any wrong move will take you either to the home screen or telephone. I wish they would create a Tytn II with a faster processor and more ram. That would certainly be my selection.
nice product, no regrate buying it though I would have wished the screen were bggier. it has definitely served most of the purpose for which i bought it. it is portable, smart and the applications are wonderful. the wheather report alone makes me know what cloths to wear when going out.
I bought the Htc HD Mini two month ago.Working perfect. The phone size is perfect for carrying in a pocket I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
